Mobile
The truck carries most of what the workshop does. Home, work, the yard or wherever the vehicle has stopped — across Rockhampton and Central Queensland.
Wiring and harness repair, alternators and starter motors, lighting, accessory installation, dual battery and solar charging systems, electric brake controllers.
Scan tool fault finding for warning lights, intermittent gremlins, no-starts and flat batteries. We find the cause before anything gets replaced.
Diagnosis, leak detection, repairs and regas. Blowing warm, smelling odd or only working sometimes — in Rocky's heat, it gets fixed properly.
Regular servicing for cars, utes, 4WDs and light commercials — fluids, filters, brakes, and a proper look over the electrical side while we're at it.
Mechanical repairs alongside the electrical work, so one shop can see the job through instead of sending you across town.

About
Rocky's the kind of town where you like to know who's working on your car. That suits me fine. Call RMAE and you talk to me first — and more often than not I'm the one under the bonnet too.
The way I see it, a good sparky tells you plainly what's wrong, what it'll cost, and whether it can wait. That's how every job here runs, from a flat battery to a full dual-battery fit-out.
The workshop is at Unit 2b, 197 Kent Street. The truck covers Rockhampton and Central Queensland for the jobs that are easier done where the vehicle is — your driveway, your depot, or the side of the road.
Have a read of what locals have said after having their car, ute or truck through the workshop — or fixed in their own driveway. They're all on Google, unedited.

Yes. The truck is set up for most electrical, aircon and diagnostic jobs on the spot — at home, at work, or wherever the vehicle has stopped. We cover Rockhampton and travel across Central Queensland. If a job needs the hoist or a longer stint on the bench, we'll bring it back to Kent Street.
Commercial and light vehicles: everyday cars, utes, 4WDs, vans, light trucks and fleet vehicles for local businesses. If you're not sure yours fits, call and ask — it probably does.
One of the most common calls we get. We test the battery and charging system, check the alternator and look for anything drawing power when the car is switched off. You get a straight answer on what's actually wrong before anything gets replaced.
Yes — diagnosis, leak detection, repairs and regas, in the workshop or from the truck. Blowing warm, smelling odd or only working sometimes are all things we see every week.
Yes. Dual battery systems, solar charging, electric brake controllers, driving lights and other accessories — wired properly so they keep working on corrugations, not just in the car park.
We do. Servicing and mechanical repairs sit alongside the electrical work, so you're not shuffling the car between two shops to get one problem sorted.
